Welcome to the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland

The Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland is an independent decision-making body. It exists to deal with applications by mental health officers and psychiatrists for compulsory mental health care and treatment orders, and with applications by patients and others for such orders to be varied or removed.
